RENTAL PERIOD
The minimum rental period is 24 hours. In case of late return, one-third of the daily rate will be charged for each additional hour. For delays exceeding 3 hours, the full daily rate including CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) will be charged.
LONG-TERM RENTALS
The minimum rental period for long-term rentals is 30 days. Special rates apply. For detailed information about rental prices and conditions, please call the AYKUR RENT A CAR Reservation Center at +90 232 251 52 51 or the nearest AYKUR RENT A CAR Office.
ONE-WAY RENTALS
If the vehicle is returned to a city different from where it was picked up, a One-Way Fee will be applied regardless of the rental duration. For one-way fee details, please contact our Reservation Center or the nearest AYKUR RENT A CAR Office.
VEHICLE PICK-UP & RETURN
At our 24/7 International Airport Offices, vehicle pick-up and return are free of charge at any time of the day. At other offices, pick-up and return are free of charge during working hours. Outside working hours (except for International Airports), vehicle deliveries and returns are subject to an extra charge.
AIRPORT SERVICE FEE
No Airport Service Fee is charged for rentals made from AYKUR RENT A CAR offices located in International Airports that provide 24/7 service.
DRIVER’S LICENSE & AGE REQUIREMENT
Individuals who are at least 22 years old and have held a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years are eligible to rent a vehicle. For luxury vehicles, the minimum age requirement is 25.
ADDITIONAL DRIVER
The vehicle can only be driven by the renter and additional drivers whose valid ID and driver’s license details are recorded in the contract, provided they meet the age and license requirements. If an accident occurs and the driver is not registered in the contract, all insurance coverage becomes invalid.
INCLUDED & EXCLUDED IN THE RATES
The rental rates include unlimited mileage, vehicle maintenance costs, and CDW insurance. Fuel, bridge and highway tolls, traffic fines, additional insurance, one-way fees, vehicle delivery and collection fees, child seats, and Value Added Tax (VAT) are not included in the rates.
PAYMENT
Payments can be made in cash or by all major credit cards.
AYKUR RENT A CAR reserves the right to change the prices, conditions, and the vehicle types specified in the tariff without prior notice.
TRAFFIC FINES
Traffic laws in Turkey permit speeds of 120 km/h on highways, 100 km/h on intercity roads, and 50 km/h in city centers. Please obey NO PARKING signs. Any traffic fines or legal liabilities arising from violations of traffic regulations or the renter’s fault are the renter’s responsibility. Traffic fines received by AYKUR RENT A CAR after the vehicle has been returned will be charged to the renter and collected in cash or via credit card (mail order). If the vehicle is held by official or local authorities for any reason, the time will be considered part of the rental period.
